Vermont-NEA Member BenefitsIn addition to such importantant services as contract negotiations, legal representation, and professional development, Vermont-NEA provides a broad range of valuable, voluntarily purchased benefits programs for Vermont-NEA members and their families. No dues dollars are used to support these programs -- they are self-supporting. Vermont-NEA's goal is to offer Association members quality products that are competitively priced. We accomplish this through partnerships with companies that are identified through a rigorous endorsement process. This is a summary of some of the criteria we use:
Important Note: While most companies offer a wide range of products and services, Vermont-NEA's endorsement is always limited to particular products only and not for all company offerings. Thus, while Vermont-NEA may endorse Company A for product "X," it should not be assumed that the Association also is endorsing Company A for products "Y" and "Z." For several years, Vermont-NEA has endorsed a successful and financially sound subsidiary of AIG for Auto and Homeowners Insurance. That subsidiary is still in business and serving our members well, but it has changed its name from AIG to 21st Century Insurance and Financial Services. 21st Century. Same great insurance products as before, with the same great discounts for members--just a different company name. Vermont-NEA members may be able save hundreds of dollars on automobile and homeowners' insurance with 21st Century Insurance and Financial Services. |
