Education-World This site is a huge educational resource that includes: links to schools throughout the state, nation and world; education news; site reviews; expert opinions; and an education site database with over 20,000 URLs.

Educational Support Personnel Workplace This site is hosted by the 260,000 support educator members of the National Education Association. Educational Support Personnel -- paraprofessionals, bus drivers, custodians, secretaries, food service workers, and more -- who play vital roles in the lives of our schools, our students, and our communities. The Henry Sheldon Museum of Vermont History offers 17 learning kits, three outreach programs, a variety of Museum tours to Vermont schools, and a teachers' curriculum/learning kit called From the Land to the Lake. The kit is based on how Lake Champlain and its connecting waterways influenced settlement in the Champlain Valley and how that settlement affected the waterways.

LD OnLine This site, introduced by WETA - Public Broadcasting in Washington, D.C., is a "full service" website for teachers, parents, and students to learn about learning disabilities.

Links That Work is a collection of links compiled by retired teacher and Vermont-NEA member Judith Steffens. She says they provide "wonderful FREE, easily accessible resources for teachers of students in grades 4-12."

National Education Association The NEA website is an extremely rich resource, with information about education issues and the latest in instruction.

StarBase Vermont STARBASE, a Vermont-NEA Partner, serves Vermont students and educators by providing stimulating hands-on learning opportunities in science, math, technology and personal development.

The Stern Center The Stern Center offers extensive professional development for educators. Their site contains articles and resources for educators about learning disabilities and reading.

Vermont Center for the Book The Vermont Center for the Book provides reading experiences that inform, educate and transform. Since 1985, the Center has been dedicated to forming and fostering communities of readers who use books and discussion to investigate and understand the world around us.
